When receiving a request for a home or other visit from a patient, the practice team refer to our triage protocols to determine the urgency of the request. Where necessary, advice is sought from the patient’s usual general practitioner when scheduling the visit. Patients are advised that if they are experiencing chest pain or have a life-threatening emergency, please dial 000 for an ambulance.
We are able to provide Home Visits to our terminally ill patients and our regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery, if safe and appropriate to do so.
Home visits are only available to our regular patients who live within a 5km radius of the clinic.
