From the 1st of 2023 we have changed our fee policy and become a Fully Private Billing Practice.
This means there is a GAP or out of pocket cost for All patients including concession card and pension card holders.
All patients will need to finalise their accounts at the time of the consolation.
Please refer to our current fee list at the front reception.
We request that patients check our consulting fees prior to their consolation
Payments can be accepted in the form of cash, EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa. We do not accept Amex cards or cheques.
For your convenience, our practice is registered for Medicare online claiming.
We can lodge claims electronically at the time of payment, and the Medicare rebate is reimbursed into the nominated bank account.
DVA Gold Cardholders will continue to be bulk billed for all eligible services if they are existing patients on a chronic disease management plan or a CVC DVA care plan
On weekdays before 3.30pm, our doctors may on discretion bulk bill standard consultations only for our existing regular patients under the age of 15 years and above 65 yrs with a valid Pensioner or concession card needing frequent visits due to an underlying chronic disease and who are on a current GP management plan.
Please note that all other consultations including skin checks, wound management, procedures, dressings, injections, biopsies, ear syringing, ECG etc will incur private fees for all patients.
All patients are privately billed for Saturday appointments.
Medical reports and examinations such as for Vic roads medical, insurance, aviation, pre-employment, taxi driver’s licenses, truck driver’s licenses, medical reports, and private vaccinations do not attract a Medicare rebate and must be paid for in full at the time of the consultation.
Please note that we do not undertake Workcover and TAC consultations for new patients.
Non-Medicare rebatable consults have a different fee structure, for example Workcover consults, Tac, insurance medicals, pre-employment medicals, aviation medicals, aviation medicals have a different fee structure and details are available at the reception.
All department of health funded vaccinations are bulk billed for all eligible patients holding a valid Medicare card.

Dr Ambika Katoch is an independent GP who is co-located at the practice and her fees may vary from other doctors.
Standard Consultations- Simple Problems ( Under 15 minutes)
Long Consultations- ( Over 20 minutes) -Multiple Medical Problems, Women's Health check including cervical screening, Postnatal checks, Baby checks, Care Plans, Mental health consultations, Procedures etc.If you are a new patient with a medical history unknown to us, you should book a longer appointment.
Prolonged Consultations- ( Over 40 minutes) Multiple issues or Complex medical problems will require a prolonged appointment to allow adequate time for proper assessment and treatment.Longer appointments are also advised for Aviation Medicals, Skin Cancer Checks, Well Women Checks, Health Checks, Medical Reports, Pre-Employment and Insurance Medicals
A consultation is required for completion of any forms including Travel Subsidy, Taxi Subsidy, Disability Parking, Private Insurance, Centrelink and Medical reports. Please note that fees apply to these services and are not medicare rebatable.
